that does help quite a bit to, so ya that will work to i guess .its an excuse . but even though...I was agood time meeting everybody out there even if i have fished with a couple of ya already its all good with buddy fr the IS..

Thats not to far away from Grand Haven, If ya ever need another fishing buddy get ahold of me! Im new to the Grand Haven area as i got stationed here this summer. Im from the U.P and i love to ice fish!

Some nice catches, and lookes like some exellent eaters!

Went out to Gull last night with SpartaMan and we did alright bite was kind of slow but we managed 65 total. I caught 37 and he caught 28. We fish in 65 feet of water and were catching them 5 to 10 feet down. Everyone else we talked to was hardly catching anything so I was pretty happy I guess!

I thought we were smelt fishing? I had to do some face surgery on this guy to get my teardrop back.

Haha SpartaMan caught the first one of the night.

SpartaMan was killing me in numbers for a while and hes no used to that so he made me take a picture of his bucket to confirm that it did indeed happen for a little while.

My bucket with only 1 before I caught up and blew him away...

Its a Main smelt fishing tradition to bite the head off the first one of the season so I figured I mine as well do it to!

Nice job CP,I think I am going to do the same thing and make
1 thread for all my pics and the 2011 season.I got out for a whole
15 minutes today and caught 4 keepers,I didnt have a camera
so I will have to remember to put 1 in the truck.
