I have seen other people do it several times.  I never have tho.  I have heard of several up to 15 pounds being caught there.

Ive been thinking of trying Hauser for cats through the ice.  I may just have to give that one a try.  Any one ever caught them out there through the ice? i have caught a few after ice out.

My partner caught a small one (2 pounds) a week ago about a 100 yards out from the boat ramp.   He was using a sweedish pimple for perch.
