Reudi reservoir report??

Anyone been up to reudi above basalt?

I was up there last weekend.  Lake was half frozen with open water on the dam half.  Only fishable ice was back by the inlet.  I'll be giving it another look in February, GOOD LUCK!

Open to very sketchy gray ice.  That could have changed by now though.

Good ice starting right at Freeman.  Open from there west.  That was the 19th.  Doubt there's much more ice than was there then,but plenty to fish I'm sure.

Has anyone been up here lately? I'm heading that way this weekend and am trying to determine whether or not I should bring the snow mobile and go catch some lake trout.  It will be some first time fishing it so any tips would go a long way.

I haven't been up there in a while, but it's been very warm here in glenwood... 50's and 60's for a few weeks now.

Pulled it through the ice a few years ago!  It bit on a tip up at about 10:30 pm.  My biggest walleye through the ice.

I would think the ice is still good from the inlet to freeman mesa area but could be sketchy. Been in the 50s and 60s in glenwood springs all week. Not good for this time of year

Yes it is. Unless we get a lot of rain like last summer. But Ya worst winter I can remember for winter sports

I was up there two weeks ago and the ice was solid through the swim beach.

Hit ruedi this afternoon, caught a few decent lakers biggest around 25 inches, had to work em no dead stick, ice is still 18" plus but getting slushy on top. Was 50 degrees when I got there. Ice won't last long
