My buddy and I are going to antero on saturday. I heard there was an inch and a half of ice last week. Hopefully theres three or four now. Long ropes and  waders are part of my game plan. If it's not safe we'll try tarryal. I'll post results as soon as i get home! If I get home

I was chatting on another site today and Antero is not safe.  There is ice and a few guys have ventured out but it sounded like it was very unstable.  Be safe.

I'm going up high to a small lake on Sunday.  Hopefully I'll have some success and photos to post. 

If I were heading to Antero I'd take fly or spinning tackle just in case.  The other boards have had a lot of talk about bogus ice reports - and, with the recent temps, I believe they're bogus too.  I look forward to hearing about what you found.
