He loved his dad like we all do. and I talked with the other guy involved last night they did everything they could to save them. rip and keep on fishing I know there are some big walleye up there just save a few for the rest of us. This family lives the outdoors life. great sportsmen.

Had two good days at LOTI. Long drive but was worth the trips. Water clear enough to site fish (in shanty). Caught 30 decent perch on Monday 3/4 and 26 today. Some big slobs today one was 13 1/4. GREAT day to end my season.

I work with him.  Nice fish for sure.  That picture does not do it justice.  Hesseltine where did you get that picture as he does not share those type of things with many people.

It was sent to me by one of my parents friends. My parents live on the lower lake. Congrats to him not many pike in there like that.  I should have blurred his face out before I posted it. I'll delete my post if he wants.

No I am sure it is fine, I was just trying to figure out if you new him.  Eddy has caught 3 fish there all year.  That 1, a 9lber and a runner.  Cracks me up because he fishes almost everyday and finally it payed off!

Last Nights PIG.  Wanted to let her go, she swallowed the darn hook all 3 hooks were in her throat. Blead pretty bad so I decided to keep her instead of sending her to die.  Normall anything over 25" I let go anymore.  She was 28 1/2 inches.

As of Sunday afternoon - 13-18".  18 on the main lake -more in the bays - 13 in areas of current. Shoreline was still solid.
The lower end of the lake has opened up, but that is normal and not generally fishable anyways.
Saw a real party out on Rollaway Saturday - 8 or more full size pickups in one small area and a small airplane landed and joined them.

Now that Walleye season is over :'(  We still have a bunch of ice and I would like to catch a few perch, anyone feel like sharing a place where the perch are hitting ?  I may be able to return the favor once we hit open water season ;)
