Here's a report for you guys. Got on 3-4 inches Monday Tuesday and today. 9 pike between me and a friend and lots of perch some jumbos. There's 2 other places with safe 3 inches that my brother and his friends fished yesterday/today too. There's fish able ice right now fellas.

how do you like the frabil suit? I am in the market for one.
If you consider it a sport to gather your food by drilling through 36 inches of ice and sitting there all day hoping that the food will swim by, you might live in northern New York

Frabill suit is awesome I love it. The grey suit is uninsulated I like to layer. It's perfect for me. Black suit is heavier. I definitely recommend it. Www.glensarmynavy.com it might still be on sale. $179.99

That's great NNYICE.  Nice to see a few pike on the ice this season.  I'm going to see if I can find some good ice tomorrow AM.

Yeh - I never pay much attention to wind either.  It's just another way for the weather nerds to sensationalize the temps.

BTW - the new Finbore Micro 6" was an awesome tool today. I like it.  ;D

Today:  Yummy!  @) :P

Hows the fishing in the north country? I went out yesterday to black lake...did well with the blue gills, caught 14 pike but all racers not much shoulder to them(one went 26 inches), 4 lm, and the crappie started their bite about 230. Caught about 10 keeper crappie. Felt great to be out of the house and getting from fresh air...Hopefully everyone else on this thread is finding fish as well. Happy fishing!

Fished bb yesterday, all day . Bucket of perch, many small and I mean small eyes.  I hate even catching small eyes, some times they don't make it and it's a waste.  Anyway thinking about heading to another location on the 1st.  BB had a ton of people on it and didn't see a single keper eye all day!

It's a decent spot for action usually catch a bunch but damn lucky to get one over 10 pounds
