Hello to all!

Wanted to make a post saying thanks for welcoming me to the forum. Moved to NYS from RI a year and a half ago and have one winter on the ice under my belt. Avid striper fisherman in RI the last 15 years but new to ice fishing. I'm in Albany county & have been out on Mariaville & Lake George but not much else. Absolutely not picky in the slightest in terms of species. Heard about a bunch of folks going thru Saratoga during a tourney this past season so I might stay off of there. Anyways wanted to say HI and thanks for having me!

Welcome Mango...Saratoga is a great fishery, you just have to be careful of the springs.  Best to go with someone who is familiar with the lake at first to get the lay of the land.  Lots of good lakes around the Capital District once they lock up, but you can always go North on 87 and head to the Adirondacks.  Good Luck and Tight lines!
