SCORE!!!! RI DEM freshwater pond charts

I realize these charts may be outdated, but in general, the geology hasn't changed that much.

Thanks for the link AT.  Just downloaded it.  I believe DEM also has other maps with boat ramp and roads on them.  I will check and post more info if I can find it.

I just looked all over for the satelite view of the maps.  I could not find it.  I guess we will have to keep using google earth.

There is a map.  I have one under my seat in my truck.  If you ask around at bait shops they might have it or call DEM?  I think it was made in 2003 has trout water and boat ramps.

Those maps are limited because they were the only DEM manged sites back in the 1970's.  Now there is obviously many more and what's funny is many of those aren't managed any more but are still decent fisheries.

Why is the front of your book green!!?? Mines blue! (Both of ours appear original) Maybe they were running out of ink on the printer or maybe you have the lost copy? LOL

Yup that must be why! Mine says '77.

I got mine (well my father got it 15 years ago) from a guy who lived on Georgiaville. Complete with remarks like "Stock with Pike JERKS!" on pages like the map for Slacks in Smithfield. LOL

See how it says Fisheries Report #3?  There actually is a #1,2 (well obviously) but I've only ever seen 1 copy of it and the person wouldn't let me have it.   Maybe it's in a library as FlagUp mentions?

I don't think so BW, it's a small pond off Hopkins Hill Rd on the EG, Exeter, Coventry borders. Used to bass fish there when I was a kid, never heard of anyone ice fishing there but...
