The bs played by Gander/Liquidators/Lemonis during all of this has been shameful both to the customer and the employees. Customers should have had to have engineering degrees to figure out price structures and employees shouldn't have to hold Twitter accounts to find out what was happening to their employment.

Both Waukesha and Wausau GMs, two of the most profitable stores in the chain, were slated to stay open according to Lemonis' "list of staying". Two days before the end of liquidation, employees were told they're closing for good. 2 days notice that you're out of work.

the only plus side is it could have been worse, but not by much. they could have never said any thing for those last two days and keep peoples lives hanging and waiting to come back to the new store that they thought they would have a job at or at least first dibs.

sorry for those who lost their jobs.

one of the gm employee's from a local gm was at a rather large sporting goods store (d&r sports oshtemo mi) the next day after their closing. he was working the gun dept at both stores. it was great to see him having work so soon.
