I own a restaurant and I have had fish last a week in the fridge and others a couple days. It also depends on the kind of fish as to how long it lasts.

remind me not to order fish there ;)

a year, maybe a year and a half.

Cousin once pulled an extinct blue pike from 1970 out of his grandfathers freezer, though I don't think they ate it.

Yikes.  I prefer my fish fresh.  If I tear into a bunch of em, I get my buddies over and clean em up.

Other than that, I'd rather eat a big pile of fresh fish than sit around and pick @ frozen fish.
"Can you smell em yet?"
