My 1st Northern Pike - Thank you IS Members

I'm Littlegoat and I caught my 1st Northern Pike thanks to all the help you gave me and my Daddy at http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?topic=51191.0



3 lbs. 2 oz. - 23"
11 Mile, Colorado
Caught jigging with a quickstrike rig baited with herring. I caught it all by myself. My daddy grabbed it out of the hole. It was fun and it pulled very hard. I am so happy. A friend of ours took it home and will smoke the meat for me. I think it will taste very good. Wish you all could share it with me. Thank you to everyone who helped me catch my first northern. Your advise helped.

Congratulations...nice fish.  My youngest son (he's 7) caught his first fish through the ice a couple weeks ago and it was a nice pike too.
