Poor guys. Looks like a nice house to boot.
Perhaps I should not have been a fisherman, he thought. But that was the thing that I was born for.

That suxs. The shore line looks good, too bad they didn't bump or bounce it off. More work now.

Was just down at the Tackle Shack down there in Newbury.  I guess Sunapee lost 2 bob houses today...

I was just there yesterday. That shoreline always goes fast. They got that one off last year Bamb308 & I were there. The guy hooked it up to his truck and dragged it across the water. I thought it might tip but he did good. His name was Moses.

I was out and about with my wife on a ride to nowhere on Saturday and stopped by Sunapee at the beach to see how the ice was

I ran into the unfortunate guy who had his bobhouse go down (top picture).  He is from the seacoast area and he managed to get it out in lots of pieces - what a shame.
He had another issue when he was in near the shore (variable 4 to 6 inches of granular ice), he put a leg through up to his pockets.

He told me he was there last Sunday and had about  15 inches of ice and in just a few days it went down.
He said he will probably rebuild for next season

There was still one house still on the ice when I was there and that's the orange one in the other set of pictures.

Looks like it's time to stay away from Sunapee Beach
