Hut and atv trailer project
« on: Oct 18, 2015, 04:58 PM »
I built a drop axel for my hut.

I also decided to build and atv trailer that is based on the same width as my Polaris with atv tires and wheels.

Very nice ole. Let's just hope for some cold weather soon

Looks like retirement is treating you well. Sure would like more details on the drop mechanism. Looks to be much simpler than the others out there. (no cables)

Retirement NOT I have been working full time since mid August.  The UW asked me to help out and since its with students I have a hard time saying no.  I am hoping the system I built works good. It is fairly easy to put up and down, but I have not pulled it anywhere except around the block to test how it pulls.  It will only go to Boysen so it does not have to travel very fare.

I like the atv trailer. All too often I see quads trying to pull a wide trailer through the deep snow. With the trailer tires breaking a new trail. Very hard to tow that way.
Always trying to catch those light bitin lethargic sons of fishes.
