All it is to me is a cross border rivalry that makes things fun on here.When you go to a Vi-Queens game in the twin cities you see tons of Packers fans and it is the same at Lambeau field.

they aren't MY vi-queens...It's my Wild for sure, through thick and thin but I'm not a huge football fan. Hockey's great because if you are a loudmouth punk somebody is gonna come beat the snot out of you! In football they just yap back and forth and then dont' really do anything. HOCKEY RULES!!!

Tonights Wild game was pretty sweet too! We beat the stupid Penguins even with the refs calling every little penalty against us and letting them get away with all kinds of stuff. Oh well we still beat em!

reading this thread was hilarious love the humor and hope no feelings were hurt to much lol now i gotta throw one at ya since it seems its a cross border rivalry i back the pack but im more the college football fan and my hawkeyes mopped the floor with the gophers the badgers and IL so i guess chalk one up for the iowegens.  and just so the mn folks dont hate me to much my number 2 college team is the gophers.  i lived in waterville,mn for 7 years and the gopher fans are second to none except maybe the hawkeye fans at kinnick lol  ;D

hey im hawkeyes first gophers second i pull for neighboring state teams as long as there not playing the hawks.  and i cant stand iowa state so i was peeved that they beat the gophers in the bowl game.  i guess im cursed with big 10 pride
