Walleye fishing
« on: Dec 16, 2009, 06:11 PM »
this weekend I will be walleye fishing on sand lake.  It is by moose lake mn.  It is a pretty clear lake and I was wondering where to look for walleyes.  deep shallow, sunken islands, reefs, rock bars?  also what baits to use?  feedback would be nice. :)

I dont know the lake, but clear water usually calls for silver and/or blue spoons. It is usually helpful to isolate the saddle backs or pinch points between humps and reefs. Usually deeper during the day and shallower at night is the rule.
