Nice, to finally wet a line once again!

After 19 days, I finally returned to the Blue Igloo for a morning of fishing.
Met Interlake and his buddy out there in their usual spot north of B.I.
Not too many people out anywhere from Selkirk to EOM.
Caught 1 eater walleye and got pestered again by those goldies.
Slow bite all around but it was still an enjoyable morning to ......as Larry the Cable Guy would say....."Git-er-dun!"

WARNING to all Burbot and Perch:
As soon as we get a replacement vehicle, I'll be heading to Delta.

My son is improving daily but it will be a while before he is released from the Health Sciences Center.
His mobility is getting better and his memory is slowly coming back but he has episodes where he is completely disoriented. This will take time.

The blue igloo on the other hand is well. It's getting close to removal time 
No rust on the reels Grump....only on the angler's reflexes on those pesky goldeyes 
Firefighter.....that expensive  new sled is a dream to pull.......now I'm getting soft 
The old wood sleigh has been delegated to ATV use only from now on 
The ice is almost a foot thicker than it was on Feb 3rd....that was the only surprise I got when visiting blue yesterday. Someone made holes VERY close to blue ........in line with my holes    ........hope they did well 
Interlake reported to me that my friends with Ontario plates were at blue last week..........funny... ...I don't have any friends with Ontario plates not unless my old hometown friends drove 1300 miles to fish the famous blue landmark
