Any News on the DELTA?

 Well Ice Shanty members it is getting to that time of year where the DELTA normally starts Fire'n up so I am itch'n to try .Anyone been out recently if so I would really like to know how you made out thst memorie of the DELTA is still fresh in my mind and i really want to go again so does my dad. ;DHave to try for some of those big Burbot Smelly Tullibee and the TASTY PERCH.

I hear ya Jiffy! I can't wait until we head out to Delta!    March 05 (Sunday) is the day we have booked to go there.    Hopefully the bite WILL be on!!!

[Swims With the Fishes]

Was out to Delata on Monday, walked out 1.5km...between 0800-1400 brought twelve on the ice, lost three, took home nine between 9-10 inches.  Really had to work for them, though.  Most of them caught on a perch eye.




Rainbows on the snow means it's really warm out, right????

Around this area they are called sun dogs they are formed by refacting/reflecting off a certain type ice crystal in the air.They from when the temp is cooler( below -20 deg C) higher up than on the ground.
