Man this steamboat webcam can be a little too intrusive, some way in on two guys right now.  Who controls it?

To bad Ole Man Elsworth wasn't still with us to interview for channel 13.  I loved his stories as a kid at his bait shop!

He had some good stories.  One incident that I witnessed happened in the shop when it was really busy and there was a line of guys buying bait.  These two "downstaters" were being really loud and impatient.  One guy says to him "Hey old man where are the fish and points to a map of LG".   Mr. Elsworth scratches his head and does not say anything.  The guy gets really obnoxious and walks around the counter and points to a spot on the map and says, "How about  here?"  Mr. Elsworth does not miss a beat and says "Fish got fins, I suppose they could swim over there."  Everyone standing in line behind these clowns just burst out laughing.  Good memory and life lesson.

Just watched the guy in the green jacket take a leak on the ice.  Way too funny!  I bet he had no idea the internet was watching him. ::)

you did great? you did better then most then. From what i heard it was a lousy run this far north.  Iv got a little one coming in the end of june so i'm going to have to hope for a few good days this season. My boys that i got into it will be out there most days so ill live through them.

Last year was my best year size wise in many years if not ever  ;D  ......  and on one trip drifting solo i had a triple on and ended up landing two

I had close to 10 fish over 38 inches, several over 40 and one topped 42  @)

Hopefully this year they all grew another inch or two

Yesterday I tried making it out to my laker spot and pussed out, buddy called me and we went back up in the afternoon and both got our limit in half an hr. Had my limit this morning before 7:30. Lots of shorts but two more good days on the lake. Hopefully after this warm up we get a cold snap and freeze the slush because walking is rough right now.

Up at my parents camp on Crow Point. I picked up a 10 pound rock and threw it onto the ice and it busted right through. Needless to say the Ice isn't safe.

I am thinking of going up to Lake George tomorrow morning. Looking to get up there by 6. I usually fish off the west side but that doesn't seem possible. I'd like to maybe meet someone up at Harris or up by Hague if the ice is good up there. Live in Wilton. I'd rather go out with someone who been out the last few days for safety sake. Looking to fill a bucket with at least 20 or so perch. Message me if you can help me out.

You might want to start a new thread on the NY board about this.
