Title: Bolton Mono and Coventry
Post by: StrutandRut on Jan 21, 2012, 02:42 PM
Went and checked these this afternoon Bolton had 5 near the launch with a solid 4 150 yds out. Mono had about 3 at the launch but only 2 about 70 feet out. Coventry looked really sketchy with wet snow near the launch. Didn't have picks so wasn't feeling brave enough to check it. Anyone else check anything around theses parts?

Whoops missed your post.  I checked the northern bay of Coventry this afternoon.  4" about 20' from shore, down to 2" by 50'.

Yeah when I stopped at mono a guy stopped to talk and he said there was a real bad kill. That's too bad because my three biggest LM came from there with the biggest being 8.8lbs. Awesome place so hopefully it will come back around.

8.8! Awesome! Just fished morey today, didnt do great, but that lake was drained 13 years ago, and they now have bass tourneys,  takes awhile to bounce back

Mono Pond had a huge fish kill last winter. I take my Lab swimming there and this Spring I saw about
2 dozen Largemouth over 5lbs dead on the shore and the dam.
There were also 100's of dead Perch and Panfish.
