I heard from others it was slow everywhere around the last couple days, even lakes that are really hot right now. I'll let you know if I try it again sometime.

Skunk days are tough days to swallow anymore for me. Especially in a lake with as many species as Jumbo you would think someone is willing to bite.  I want to hit Wheatland as well but skunks and slow days seem to be the norm up there from the posts I see.

Da*mn, Slayer you get around (11 Mile, Jumbo, Wheatland).  You're making me jealous.  I was going to have my old man try Jumbo - and he lives in Ogallala.  He goes there softwater in the summer for eyes/trout/panfish and they do pretty well.

I hear you on the tough year - i have been smacked around pretty bad as well this season.

I hear you.  I'm heading to 11 Mile on the 2nd to try to get the stink off of me.  Thats my all-year home lake so i figure every minute spent there is time well spent.  She can be a cruel,  but she's mine.  Good luck in WY.

The bows in my avatar are from 11-mile.  A 6 and a 4 caught 15 minutes apart.  Done that a few times there. Love that place.
