goodbye Jonathon Hillestrand
« on: Aug 17, 2017, 05:10 AM »
The time bandit captain on deadliest catch is retiring after 37 years of fishing. I would like to wish him a great retirement and I'll miss seeing him on the show. One of the great real life shows left.

his brother andy didn't say that he is retired tho. seems strange to walk away from your income like that. wild bill said johnathon has been saying for 3 years he was retiring. so maybe he is just talking again.

i like to watch the show too. crazy how they have been fishing in that huge storm. also, johnathan was near russia at the top of the show and was doing great and then he was some where else on another episode and doing bad and then went some where else and was doing great again. that was weird i thought.

John is still part owner of the boat and I'm sure he's going to be staying in the income stream.

After 37 years of crab fishing I think the man deserves to retire and spend time at home. ;D ;)
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.
