Big Green Lake
« on: Feb 09, 2010, 09:48 PM »
Anyone been out on Green Lake lately?

Was out last weekend with the kids - 2 days six tip ups and not a single flag!  Surrounded by others and didn't see any action from them either.

Heard the lake trout has been decent the last couple weeks so may have to change gears, regardless I have to get the kids on fish if I expect them to keep comin out with me!

Good luck!

Haven't made a ride up there yet, but plan too, some buddies of mine have been doing well on lakers.

It will also be a trial by fire for my Humminbird, since there isn't any water around me more than 20' deep, so a hole popped in 130' or so will be a test for the bird.

Check Lake-link for updates on the bite from Dennis Walker, he usually puts a good report out about once a week or so.
