He Man Award

If your fishing this am you get should get the He Man Award or a section8. My kids are up to Greenville this weekend. I hope they are smart enough to stay in the camp they are renting. Everybody stay safe, this is no regular snow storm.

I just a text from a crew on branch...said they made it out...but should of took the GPS cause they may not make it back!
There isnt an auger/traps on the planet that are worth the dangers you could run into on the lakes on a day like today!

Gps is a must on Branch in this weather, there's a pressure ridge that last saturday was big enough for a semi to go swimming.

I was out last night cuskin as the snow started. Went out again early this am. I called it quits after a few hours cause I was having trouble seeing the flasher and my eyelashes kept freezing together. Fortunately the drive home went smoothly. I took er nice and easy.

better to be able to go again tomorrow or whenever than broken hearts and sadness we need to teach our kids and each other that theirs always another day if you put safety first. sometimes it's best to not risk it for a fish though hard to do also.
