Nice work. You should get a replica of that football, Nate. I would. I went Sunday and caught 10 keepers, biggest was 13.5". Jumped over to the other lake looking for water wolfs for an hour. No luck, but the mountains were blue. Went home for the donkeys game and some fish tacos!

Deep-fried in a bass pro fish fryer. It's the best way to go. Consistent and not much of a mess. My wife has a recipe that is killer, so we invite friends and family over and have a big fish fry a couple of times a year. A little pricey, but my experience with replicas is you don't want to go cheap. If you do, they just look fake and cartoonish. His perch replicas are the most real looking I've seen.
Meh- Save your money to catch more jumbos.
Maybe a certain location on the front range will have good ice to reach out to the flats this year...a 15” or 16” would be nice!
