sketchy ice at macbride

Heard a report that the ice near the opie road ramp is NO GOOD. Also heard through the grapevine that someone went through out there? Anyone else hear that or know if there is any truth to it?

we fished it yesterday. we walked in from the parking lot above the beach. ice looked a little spooky. we drilled out to the other side. all was a good 7 inches. That being said, we took home 14 10" crappie. Lost another 10 or so at the hole.

Was planning on going out to MacBride on Saturday, I hope the ice it better?  ???

Evidently an ice boat got to close to the island east of Opie ramp and went in. Was told that he was OK.

I've been out several times at Macbride this year.  Ice is fine where I've been.

Was out this morning. Ice were I was was down to 4 inches and was 7 last week.
