i was just wondering what everyones favorite size and color swedish pimple is for lake trout mainly or any other trout or whatever thanx

I agree with sounder. We use the big white ones with the red flipper. We also change out the hooks and use the expensive red trebles. Liphook dead smelt and use stingers. We pretty much fish lakers in 90-180 FOW. The big Pimples get down there fast.

perch: # 2 or 3 in any color #2's witha 4 inch dropper and #3's the treble.

walleye: #5 any color really

I also like the #7 in white, gold hammered and Paint one harbor blue.I also dress the offering with a wedge of sucker or perch. Works at L.G. and Schroon

I heard "there are no stupid questions, only stupid people who ask questions", so at the risk of sounding stupid - what are the extra colored pieces in the pack for? Where do you attach them?

The pimples that come in the blue box ,(fluted) I believe there called. The 2" & 3" in pearl,pearl/blue, and chartreuse . Give `em a try. You`ll like there action.

The flippers you mean...just an added attractor or sometimes non-attractor...I've witnessed it make a difference on perch(yellow vs.red)...but,my experience with lakers...I don't believe you need one...the red one that is already attached I usually rip off after a couple of fish anyways...one thing for sure, make sure you use the extra split ring that comes with it, as always,my .02.

I use the smallest or second smallest size forfor trout/panfish and tip with a half a meal worm.
