Dan - The fish in my avatar is a laker of almost identical size caught in 2010 (maybe 2011), caught on Lake George in upstate New York.  Guess im just a little lucky ;D (and spent a crap ton of time on the water, hard or soft)
I'm from around the Massena area. Sure do miss fishing the St.Lawrence, Raquette and Grass rivers !

Tim:  John Corp told me to look this up.  I spent a lot of time fishing the Hague area this year and "think" I may have hooked into your beast.  He ended up breaking my rod in half.  I was using Berkley fireline and he caught me off guard and ended up winning the battle.  Good year out on lake despite ungodly cold we have experienced.  Ski   conditions were more like Colorado with dry cold fluff all year.  Lakers were on fire in January with clear ice that got up to 30 inches thick in places.  Best lures were Berkley ripple shads (white or smelt) on 3/8 oz. jig heads.  Nice fish ;)  Bob Davis
