Altoona is my favorite necuase it is close.  We won't keep a perch unless it is over 11" and pretty east to limit.
Butternut Lake in Ashland/Price county.  Nice perch, crappies, and eyes.  I grew up on the lake and fished it every day of the year when I was a kid and still like to fish there when we visit the parents.

My lake has to be Lake Winnebago, then Cedar Lake, which I don't get to nearly enough.  Winnebago is only 8 miles from here to it's close.  Early season I'll hit Beckers Lake, Long Lake, and Round lake near Brillion.  They're only like 1 mile apart from each other so they're close :D.

Butternut Lake in Ashland/Price county.  THere are plenty of fish to catch, plus there are plenty of fishing contests held on the lake.

Petenwell is the only lake I have ever fished in Wisconsin.  And it was awesome.  Does anyone know if the Edgewater Resort is still open?  I know it's kind of run downed but I was really hoping it would make it another year or two, any information would be appreciated.

Mine is Lake Wausau only because it's close to home.  I put my permanent shack out and hope for Walleye, Pike and Perch, while consuming a few adult beverages  ;)
