I had a little free time at work today. So I made myself a transducer arm. I love the benefits of my job!

Wow, the "real thing" machine!!!!! I used to mill heart/lung bypass machine control panels on those when I was right outta high school.

What is the purpose of the arms?
I've seen them for years but never known what they do?

They replace the foam float as the method to suspend the transducer at the desired depth. Makes hole-hopping easier, too.
