The Whites are in 10 feet of water or less.
Just look for everyone in the "village on the lake"
Perch, 18'0"  of water & plus.
The burbot and pike are also with the prch at the moment. Early in the morn and till 2pm.

I target perch, burbot and northern pike.
As I came here from Saskatchewan, I never got the white fish bug!
They remind me of tulibee and that is the most foul smelling
fish I have ever reeled in. On most weekends I will fish Gull in the morning and
move to Pine Lake for the rest of the day.

where abouts at wilson beach does one go? I have never caught perch where the huts are......mostly whites and pike using "jims jigs". Do those jigs work ok over where you are?

no we decided to park ourselves several hundered yards down from there just to stay away from the crowd  a bit. Does anyone know how everyone in the village was doing? Also how deep do you want to be for burbot, and weedy/sandy/rocky bottom??

I have heard that about 10-15 feet of water, and with a sandy bottom.

Gull perch are a very hit and miss fish if u live around edmonton go to spring lake there about 40,000 small perch in there that fight for your hook but rarely nothing over 6 inches. It has trout 2 but they kinda of stunted by perch in that lake. But the trout are aggresive 2. I have pulled 22 inch out of there and lost lots in the range of 6-10. Be aware throw u have to walk onto lake. It a good lake for little kids. Sadly there trying to kill off all the perch :(.
