Yesterday, my brother and I set up 10 tip ups at our end of season bass spot. 3-1/2 hours later, with only a couple of perch to show for it, we decided to move to a different area. As I approached the next to last tip up, a flag went up and we got this fatty 30+ incher. For an ice report,  6 to 8 inches of ice that was talking to us all morning and we had to hunt for a good edge to walk off. There are other areas of the lake that are probably a little better, but its not looking great.

Nice surprise to end up with when you think all is lost. Great job, and it's to bad with this warm weather and rain that more places are going to lose edges. Hope for the best that some hang on.
