Dead Sticking/Tip Downs

I would like to catch crappie on a tip downs, but not allowed to use live minnows.  Any suggestions?

Maybe try GULP minnows?  Sometimes those work better for me than the real thing.

Wax worms and/or spikes ...if you can use dead minnows..whole or heads

if your tipdown has a wind jigger flap on it, about any small jig n plastic is think.  they like black hairy bead head jigs a lot too. be sure to spray some scent on the offering too.  that can be the trigger some slow days.
