Keep us informed on the ice conditions. Catching fish is nice, but I won't go alone if I know the ice is sketchy in places and I'm not very familiar at all with those lakes. Thanks and good luck!

Nobody was fishing 3 Mile today, but there were quite a few a 12 Mile.  A couple guys were on four wheelers.  Was getting pretty wet on top tonight.  Caught some crappies and some nice gills.  Didn't catch any eyes.

I haven't personally seen Green Valley for about three weeks.  I know some guys were heading from 12 to Green Vally on Saturday.  This rain and warm weather can't be helping though.

Looking at going there tomorrow morning, any advice would be greatly appreciated as this is the first trip there for me, especially concerning ice conditions.

I personally am going to be headed North.  I don't want to spend the time to get there and find out I can't fish.  Please let us know what things look like after your down there.  Thanks

Got a cabin down there this weekend can you get on the ice still at 12 mile? I saw somewhere else that the east ramp was all water, but there was 9" of ice out at the trees.

Anyone have an update?

How recent did it go out. I talked to the pier, and thought I could still get out off the west ramp. He was going off what was reported from Monday's ice conditions.

nice day of ice fishing alone at 12 mile
went all afternoon only catching 2 bass from 2 till 6 then the crappies started and i was limited out by 730 even the the size was kinda small to fair
5 other fellas all reported the same but some really struggled even at dark
ice is like 6 to 8 and as reported by ranger joe above
there is a pool here and there ''widowmakers OR BLACK TIGERS" but it isnt like you cant see them but knowing they are there is kinda un nerving when walking off after dark
id like to help out and say we are good to go for the weekend but i know those pools are right at the ripple stage right now , Its 36 and the wind is supposed to be ugly tommorow

i feel the ice we have is good for foot traffic at the present but if it dont freeze tonight and the wind comes up she might get ugly

No atv, not yet. 12 mile isn't that big just drive around find out where the crowd is WALK out there and talk to a friendly one, you'll be fine. I think you need 8" of ice for an atv, I'll call 911 but I'm not a hero. Good luck might see you down there

Anyone else been out on twelve mile today or yesterday?  Just wondering how the warm weather effected the ice or if the bite is on?  Also is everyone using the East boat ramp and heading out from there?  Thx!  :)
