Had a bunch of frabil 2 man thermal flip overs. Excellent shape 299.99 sadly the wife was with me so couldn't sneak one past her!
-
They actually have a pretty good little selection of stuff right now.
-
Yes way better than normal. I was really surprised to see the flip overs at such a good price
-
Yea I picked up a set of cheap traps for my daughter to see if she will like it and stay interested if she has her own traps.

If you want her to stay interested get a flasher and a jig rod.
-
Good idea!! I'll keep that in mind maybe if there was a 15 year old boy sitting on a bucket jigging she would do it. LOL
-
Talked them down to 200 and got myself one
-
Wow never knew mardens dickered
-
Mostly only dicker on the furniture end cause they make money every time they sell something and if you manage to talk to the right person at the right time you can get lucky as I did. Im at mardens about twice a week I live right up the road from there gotten to know the people pretty good
-
Headed over to brewer shortly, may have to stop and see if any of the gear made it up this far. Probably will still have golf stuff out instead.
-
lol the brewer store is hit or miss one week they will have stuff out and the next theres nothing at all.
-
Was at Calais store tue,, they I, saw Swedish made mora blades dif. sizes !
-
Gotta check into the Waterville store to see if anything is out I guess.
-
Was just in the brewer Mardens 2 hour ago and they had at least 3 or 4 of the 2 man flip overs left.. 299.00 :)
-
the mardens in south portland has tons of the frabill trekker DLX (2-man flip-overs) in stock for 299.99. i bought one today and was grinning ear to ear the whole way home...
i have been thinking of getting a flip over for this season since i plan on doing a lot of jigging "on the run". my hub style frabill isn't that fun to break down and reset a bunch of times in one day especially in the wind and on when i'm fishing solo.
wish i had known about the dickering mentioned in the posts above. i did find it strange that they also had a $299 sticker on a couple of frabill 1-man flip-overs..
-
Just got back from Waterville Mardens and they said they had "PLENTY" of those Frabills left.
The one man is the same price as the 2 man though.
-
Picked up 2 Trekker DLX at Marden in South Portland. They said they are selling out fast!
-
I didn't see any in Lewiston on Sunday.....they had a 1 man setup for $299 but I didn't see any 2 man left......when I saw the fabric was not insulated I wasn't going to purchase one so I didn't bother ask about the 2 mans to see if they were getting more.
-
When I started the thread they had a bunch of 2 man and they were all insulated. Some upstairs and a whole bunch more downstairs with the tools
-
Must have missed them upstairs....I was downstairs with tools.....they had tons of stuff but no 2 mans. No shortage of traps or line....had quite a pile of them.
-
Yeah Waterville maddens has the flip overs too. Plus a whole row of frabil line counter traps and maybe a few of the wooden style.
-
They have Daiwa Tournament SS1300 Whisker reels for $70.00
Actually, they have the next 2 sizes down also. Same price. Tons of other fishing stuff also.
-
I was at Mardens in Auburn a couple of week ago and no fishing gear at all!!
-
There's no Marden's in Auburn.
-
been many years since I'd been in Marden's in Sanford
-
I ment Lewiston. Sorry about that
-
My wife just showed me pictures on Facebook that they're now loaded up with ice fishing gear.
We have a date tomorrow night. Dinner and Marden's. That's my idea of a good night on the town. lol
Hmmm. Where to eat. Damn, I miss Graziano's. :-(

No wife=happy life. ;D

Went to Mardens tonight. Good deals on varnished wood tip-ups $9.99-12.99 with the spools full of line. It was hard to resist but I already have too many.
I did grab this telescopic jig rod for $3.99. 24" when extended.
