In a way its always kinda sad when the ice goes away because the crazies of humanity come away
from their TVS and come outside.  Oh well, enjoyed the forum here this winter and will look forward to the interaction here, and of course the ice next winter. Have a great summer, when it gets here, someday.

Hope all had a great season. Already thinking about next season. I think we as the montana shanty group should all get together and have a shanty day next year on some lake somewhere in this great state. Think it would be a great time with a bunch of fellow shanty members. To all tight lines amd safe travels.

well as we are rolling through the second week of September, the next season is approaching. Snow predicted in the mountains tomorrow and I have dreams of being on the ice in 60 days.
if you're too busy to go fishing, you're too busy

I would settle for 90. It seems like wishful thinking but I sure hope you're right.

Four days ago, a low temperature in Leadville of 29 degrees, and snow squalls intermittently closed Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. Cmon winter!!!
