My New FLX 28!

Hey guys just got this on Saturday and thought I would post some pics for you guys to see. Form what little time I have had the unit it really is very nice. It is a lot quiter than the other style models. The screen is nice and bright and easy to read. You your choice of 5 different color combs and the is a depth read out on the screen for easy to depth. It does have Weed mode which is a new feature for this year. This feature is to help you see your jig better in the weeds it can also help when you are fishing in big schools of panfish or balls of shad.The screen will tell you what mode you are in what color # you are fishing plus battery status. The screen looks sharper and clearer than my FL22HD. The screen sits back about a 1/2" in and has an opening at the bottom to let out any snow or whatever gets in there. The unit I purchased was the FLX28 Propack2. It comes with the soft case for $599. Well here are the pics. I will answer any questions you may have but I have not had a chance to use the unit yet considering its 73 out here right now(BUMMER!).

Nice post I just got my new FLX28 home and it seams like a great unit can't wait to try it on ice

It might take a few times watching DVD to perfect the weed mode and low power weed mode

And the best part of the new vex is I had it next to my old 35+ vex8 is that they don't interfere at all and I still use my old vex for dead sticking because it has a fish alarm that tells me when a fish is near my bait and maybe it's old school but I like that when will the other company's come up with that option

Nice. Plan on picking up the just the head unit when they come available. Was going to the the Fl-18 since I have an Fl-22HD also but am thinking maybe I should keep the 18 also. Got kinda attached to it.

Scheels was the only place i know that have them already. I tried Reeds and they told me the mid October.
