Thanks Zeker  now I don't have to swim out there to check the ice

Just curious though: how far away can one control a drone?

by the law it has to be in eyesight, but will work up to a several miles away depending on the drone

Hi guys, coming in from out of town, noticed there was ice on the webcams. Do you think there will be enough for a machine by the weekend?

Tightlines!

I heard from someone yesterday that heard of a rescue off of the south shore somewhere. I was working on the east end of lakeshore rd yesterday and it was all open water in front of there.  This morning I saw 2 guys out by Frenchman’s island that looked like they walked off the south shore. 5 huts in front of Constantia this morning about 100 yards out from the access by circle k.  In front of scriba creek was open water yesterday. The group of fisherman I saw this morning were just west of scriba creek but not far out at all as I mentioned.

The spot I was going to check this afternoon has a wide open strip of water now. Patience!

I really wanted to get in Oneida but decided to try my small water spot instead.  Had fun but lost my last jig from the past on a pickerel at the hole. Felt great to get out but wow, 6 degrees is cold even in a heated shanty.

I prefer a 2oz sinker for perch...when it hits 'em they won't feel a thing
