Anybody ice fish the wapsi for walleyes

I'd love to try to find some wapsi walleyes, but I have no clue of any safe access points or fishing locations. Any assistance would be appreciated. I, not asking for the locations of your honey holes, just a safe place where I might find other ice fisherman out on the ice.

I've never ice fished wapsi but have definitely caught nice walleye and northern out of it during the summer

I would not suggest it this year, at least not in the near future. The rivers are fluctuating and that causes not-so-good ice conditions. We might just be done on most miss backwaters as well, lots of water on the edges today from a 4" rise.. supposed to rise 2 feet in the next couple days with no ice making weather for a week. Lets hope for a big cold snap early Jan so we can get a few more days on the ice!

Remember to be very careful this week fellas, I saw spots of 3" today right next to 6-8".. After the next couple days those 3" spots will not be safe, don't want to step on one of those!
