Mapping
« on: Dec 04, 2019, 07:47 AM »
Does anyone know where to get some decent depth maps for your phone??
Besides navionics, I didn't find it was very accurate at all.  I know asked a million times and I still can't find any where I can drop markers.
Thanks....

IMHO,
The "accuracy" of maps depends entirely on the current water level of the lake you are on.   Lake Diefenbaker for instance, a depth chart isn't much good due to the massive difference in water level during the year.

The depth chart should be used more for "structure present" than depth.

I don't have the Navionics App but kicked across this while I was researching it.
