Most everyone says silicon spray for the zippers and for the shack poles to prevent ice up.  Petroleum jelly would, I think, get over everything and be a pain to clean up.

Another part to the problem is that the fabric won't stretch as much in the cold, so try loosening the spreader bars.  Also if you get water on the zipper it can freeze and be a real pain.

You might try to rub a candle on it or some paraffin wax. Works pretty good.

I've found a good, synthetic firearms oil works best. Just apply a drop or two (sparingly) and work the zipper a foot or so. Just keep going until it's coated sparingly. The oil I use has rated pour point of  -65 degrees.

My son has a can of spray wax he used that for his motocross chain. I used it on my zippers and poles and it works pretty good.

Stop peeing on the zipper and it won't freeze up :o or a little dry graphite on the zipper fill fix it as well.

spray wd-40 into a cup and get a small hobby paint brush at like wal-mart and paint it onto the zipper I do it once a season, its cheap and fail proof.
