Spray the outside down with campdry and your good to go for many more years. The pin holes of light happen in all the shanties after a couple years. She just needs rewaterproofing!

Clam told me to spray the inside of my Yukon with LocTite Color Guard or PlastiDip in a spray can. I went out and bought some the other day but have yet had a chance to do it.

I did the PlastiDip and it turned out pretty well. I still have a few light spots that I need to respray.

IceFishinJoe - Is PlastiDip a black paint or a clear protective coating?

I have an older Dace Genz FishTrap Scout and mine didn't have the black inside like the newer models, I recently painted my inside with black acrylic paint and now it seems identical to my cousins newer inside. I just feel like I may need to spray a protective coating over this.

Sorry for the late reply, the PlastiDip is black in color. There is a product made by LocTite called color guard though and I believe it comes in clear.

It  came in a spray can, I found it in the paint department.
