Any Fishing Derbies?
« on: Jan 08, 2012, 06:57 PM »
I am visiting Milwaukee Jan. 19-25.  Driving from Montana. My son is running those marathons.  Are there any derbies nearby to be fished during that time?

Thanks in advance.
wish you many hook-ups

thats usually right around the weekend the derbies start popping. February is a much more popular month for derbies around here though. the real question is will there be ice by then?

If you're headed to Chicago and need to stop for coffee or lunch, I work right off I-94 about 10 miles North of Chicago.  Always happy to meet a felly IS member.  I guess if there's no ice we can at least talk about icefishing.

I live in Osseo,WI which is right off I-94, if you wanted to stop in the area here and go fishing for a day, I could probably take you out
The fishing is always great, the catching however, always isn't
