FYI!  Effective Jan 1, 2019, the Wyoming fishing licenses will be issued on a 365 day basis instead of a calendar basis.

What really chaps my hide is the whole reciprocal deal, but I can understand Wyoming's frustration. From what I'm gathering is out of staters were buying a non-resident fishing license in utah & then buying the gorge reciprocal to fish the whole lake cheaper. Wyoming was losing money on the non-resident license's. This is only heresay but I'm sure its not to far off. It sounds like Utah better get on board and up the reciprocal also or change the laws for both states that you need to be a resident license holder to get the reciprocal for $10, anyone out of these 2 states will need to add the $30 reciprocal to there already paid for non resident license. Either way its more $$$ out of my pocket once again to fish the waters I love. Oh well I hope my extra $20 a year goes to something productive

I said screw the reciprocal and bought a non-resident year license, now I get to pay for a conservation stamp. LOL Oh well I'm fishing more in Wyoming this year than ever before so its worth it

ALSO, if you’re geared up to fish at 6 AM and remember your fishing license is no longer valid since it’s a new year....... you can buy them online as long as you’re cool with showing an officer your phone
