With those highs and barely below freezing for lows...I doubt there would be fishable ice. But.....Here's to hoping I'm wrong ;D

I highly doubt it with highs like that but if its cloudy/ overcast theres a better shot than if its bright and sunny.

The problem is the sun. It was 14 this morning at my Job  and as the sun hit the roof, the icicles started flowing. 20 F and you would think it was 40 F the way the water was coming off the ice. we have a pond simular to the one you are refering to at my job and it does not look safe. For us the weather is too late. We need at least 3 weeks cold 30-20 for good ice to set up. I think this weeks warmup will ruin our chances for any good ice at the shore.

Pepin, Wisconsin?
Imagine that. A Wisconsin guy concerned with ice in New Jersey!
Somehow, life seems like it just got a little better!
How are things in Wisconsin? Good enough for fishing, I hope. :)
The more I fish, the more I  to fish, but the only  I need is BEER.

Another thing to remember, we are at sea level and they are not. On a side note, I see grass again
