here's my sled mods.

Just made the smitty sled this weekend. Will refine it after I see how it works. Also just made the drill auger adapter yesterday. I can tell you that baby works very well.

I guess I have had too much time on my hands this winter. Decided my sled was a little to short for me. So I have made up a new one. Just waiting for the fabric to show up.(it's at the post office as I speak.) Here is the mock up of the new sled. The tub is something I made several years ago. Was real noisy being made out of aluminum. I put 3/4" pipe runners under it this time. Pulls real easy also.

Always looking for a place to put my... Coffee, jigs, light, food, etc.. In the corner where my bracket it was just the right size to put my Stanley cup and can always use more room. Easy and didn't cost a thing. A piece of 1x10 laying around and a jig saw.
Cut it to size you like or what fits best, I put it in the corner and tap on the board to show the top of the bolt head on the bottom of the board. Took it down stairs and drilled the board where the bolt head impression is. Keeps it from moving around and gives you all the room you need for more crap. The other thing that really keep it in place is bolt nut on the bracket. Worked great today.

Scroll up the page a ways and you will see my old sled. This one is 6" higher. Had no problem with the wind or hook sets with the old one. I built another foot of fishing room in front on this one.

Just finished the new sled. Waiting for it's maiden voyage.
Dimensions are 31 wide, 50 long, 15" high when folded flat. Erected it is 31" wide 86" long and 60" tall. Has alot more room inside for me and storage than the old one.
The old may be able if anyone is interested. Scroll up the page to see the camo sled. Page 11.  Perfect for running and gunning the perch.

Wow, nice job.  When its really cold out, your probably not going to want to grab the aluminum with wet hands...  lol

How does the PVC hold up in the cold?

That looks really slick.

Well....I am going to be more organized this year, so I made this center console for my fish trap, will fit nicely between the 2 seats, or if I take a seat out it will slide over and still will be beside me,  made from 7/8" white oak, hardboard on bottom, 9 1/2" wide,  2 cup holders, and four other compartments to put what-ever in. A cleat on each end holds it secure over each edge of tub. Give me your thoughts. Thanks Smitty.
