That looks nice but I will stick with my Swedish pimple and perch eyeball. That's the best i found so far.

Very hard to beat, but some lakes the fish want horizontal presentations... For that a Chubby Darter...

Pretty tough to beat the Hali or a UV buck shot rattle spoon, IMO.

Was looking at these but Kens spoons and marks do so well with a minnow head or perch eye it is hard to say if it will work.. Been thinking about vibrating blade baits for a long time..

I know they're not new, but we had tremendous success with the Lindy Perch Talker and the Lindy Rattlin' Flyers last year.

Slender spoons and buckshots have worked for me in the past and I believe they will keep working this year as well.

I'm a fan of rattlin buckshot spoons or The sweetish pimple. They've always done okay by me.

Beaded soon is always first in the hole. If that don't work the jiggin rap goes down.

I'm interested to try the assortment of new Maki plastics and see how they do. Last season, I really did well with a Frostee Spoon. I took the treble hook off and went to an Aberdeen hook. It worked awesome for a deadstick presentation.

What color and size Rattlin' Flyers did you have the best luck with.  Also did you tip them with anything?  Agronomist_at_IA is right, it's hard to beat the Hali-jig in the picture he posted.

I've had a perch talker......just never had the confidence in it like a do with the spoon and dropper. So I never tried it much.. I'm partial to the shuck's jigger though since I'm from the IGL area. Guess I should try the perch talker more.

Had the best luck with brighter colors, perch, firetiger, etc.  Can't remember offhand what size it was.

Usually start out with a buckshot. 9 times out 10 that'll bring them and hopefully they'll bite on it. If not I have couple other poles rigged. One with a jig and one with a plain hook and minnow. Either of them will usually get a bite when they're finicky.
