Jewel Lake

They are hitting nicely on jewel lake. Used a mix of due rent lures and jigs. Pautzke Fire balls and cocktail shrimp were getting them going. The Anchorage lakes are great producers if you don't feel like making a drive to fish.

Nah mid town Anchorage. Being a fulltime college student (19 Credit hours this semester) Time constraints keep me close to town durin the week. So The anchorage lake system is my go to for weekday fishing. If I do head out to the valley i target Pike in Flat Lake. Or Trout in Niklasen Lake.

Just teasin(grin) Yeah, the local Anchorage bowl lakes are fun to fish and better than being stuck in front of the tv or inside, but much better "fishing" to be had in the valley!
