Current Creek?
« on: Feb 07, 2019, 06:12 AM »
Wondering if I can drive to the dam in my Cherokee?
The only report I have been able to find is on the DWR page from 1/23/19.  "The gates may be closed and access is limited to snowmobiles." Don't have machines just a stock Cherokee.
Other years have been able to drive to the dam, but haven't been able to get over there for the last couple of years.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Have not seen ay reports from there in awhile either. I would imagine with all this snow we've been getting its probably tough getting up to the dam in a vehicle. Check out the UDOT cams for over in that area and that might give you an idea of how much snow fall is around there. Bad thing is it dont tell you about drifts and this year they are everywhere.

Thanks Musky

Have looked at the cameras, 40 looks in real good shape but still not able to convince myself to drive that far with a chance of not getting all the way up.

So probably just hit something close Echo, Rockport or Pineview.

Maybe look at Current Creek again over Presidents day weekend.
