they call them water wolfs for a reason they go were the food is. If the hole is good stay. I would mark that spot and put on it again next year.. Good job by the way.... :o

Congratulations, That's a nice gator ya got there and it's going to look even better up on the wall.....and if your wondering wether or not it's worth it, I can say that YES it is worth the money as long as you bring it to a good taxidermist  ;D

Don't fix what isn't broken but on the other hand if you go a full week without seeing any more legal ones than mark that spot with a GPS and start scouting around the area with a fish camera and if you don't have one of them than just try and trust your gut and move maybe 30 or 50 yards away.

Stay put for awhile.  The right conditions attracted that size pike there and could bring in others.

Good luck.

Great Northern !  Like others said, If you end up moving, mark that spot. Come back to it again.  How deep are you. I've noticed the bigger ones seem to be lazy and hug the bottom alot looking for an easy meal.

What was the reaction of that big one when he came in ?

9 fow it came in grabed the 15inch sucker and took it under the house and spit it out so i brought the decoy back in the hole as i was watching the scales fall to the bottom she came back for a second bite but she lost. Iam only running my decoy 3.5 feet down all fish have came in at deke height.

First of all nice pike.
I believe they are and the smaller the lake the less fish.  If they have feed in a certain area they will not move to far maybe a 100-200 yards max.  I have speared 6 in my area so far and I now have seen very few fish.  So I think that you can spear out a spot.  Just my 2 cents worth.  My lake is long an fairly narrow so I will move do some scouting with tip ups this weekend.

I caught a 36" and a 39" within 30 yards of eachother.  I believe they aren't territorial
