Havent been out for a week or so. Going out after work at 1pm. Hows the bite been for everyone.? Was doing real good on gills last i was out.

It's been slow on the wapsi for walleyes

Slow.  Got skunked today and drilled 2 miles worth of holes. Never saw a fish on the flasher

Can't complain up here in N.W. IOWA, if they aren't biting on one go to another. Don't understand why people think they have to go to S.D. when it's all here.

i ended up going out for a few hours today in des moines. Caught one crappie, about 8in. Seen a couple other guys smashing the panfish. Flasher wasnt workin. Ice is 10in, and cracking poppin and moaning like ive never heard. Good to know its gonna thicken up some more before this next warm spell next week. Will be out again before and after sun up tomorrow. Going for trout, dont know how that will turn out. Will report again tomorrow as im fishing.
